It's about simple pleasures;
enjoying great food; rediscovering what puts the great into the
great outdoors; taking time to stop and smell the flowers. In a
pivotal way, it is a global garden; a place of beauty and wonder
which explores humankind’s dependence on the natural world. Because,
to bring together in one
area, over 100,000 plants representing 5,000 species from many of
the climatic zones of the world is an inspiration.
It is called
The Eden Project.

Eden is an Educational Charity (Reg. No: 1093070) with a structure that is
quite unique. Their
website gives a lot of information including opening times so that you
can go to visit and experience a wonderful thought-provoking day out.
Here follows a true story:
"The innocence of a
laughing little boy with an apple for his teacher tragically and
unexpectedly shows a definite need for the conservation of plants.
Their value to mankind is astonishing and it would be good to think
that lives might be saved. But this treasure trove of benefits for
people still requires more education and understanding."
The above paragraph is the
summary of my article called 'The Benefit Called Eden'. Written from a personal angle
(as I was the teacher and the laughing
little boy was in my Reception Class), these memories are from
years ago and will never be erased.
