Hello from England. My name is Norma Kearton (formerly Gee; née Kinsella) and I am delighted to be in your
company to-day.
I
hope you find my website interesting; it is for all members of the
family and will grow to accommodate many new features. One of these is
to source good and reliable world-wide suppliers for all your shopping
needs.
I
have taken on board some ideas that guests would like to see and I
am now in the process of developing other areas of interest.
My
many pages are grouped into portals to make for easier navigation. Do
use the search boxes on the entry page to each section if you are
looking for something specific.
I
hope you enjoy your visit to 'Reach for the Sky'.
Watch
out for the Shopping Mall becoming bigger over the next few months. My quest is
to offer a unique style whilst sharing my research for products with you
all.

You
will notice that these pages are in memory of 'Lucky' and 'Sherry'. I love cats
and both cats were special - Lucky could communicate like no other cat I have
ever known. I saw him born into the world and I saw him leave - he
'asked me' to let him go. He was fifteen years of age when diagnosed
with cancer and it was then that I realised this dreadful illness
shows no mercy to any living thing.
Despite
working as a fundraiser for a hospice for almost seven years, it
was the death of Lucky that pushed me into thinking about the need for
more research into the cause of cancer. I suppose it was because I
witnessed his demise whilst watching his desperate struggle to live.
Since
I lost Lucky, my step-mother has died from cancer too; other friends and
relatives are also having to come to terms with this illness. I have no doubt
at all that many readers can empathise with the way I feel. Surely, by
way of more research, we must try to conquer cancer and help to avert
all the pain and suffering endured my so many.
In 2006, I lost another cat, Sherry.
You can read her story
here. A lady in the vet's waiting room
said that she wished our pets lived longer. She had a beautiful, old labrador and her words made me realise even more how life should be
loved and nurtured.
